BOSTON–(BUSINESS WIRE)–Paint Nite®, the leading in-venue experience company in North America, announces the appointment of new CEO David Krauter and new CMO Stephanie Brocoum. Together, Krauter and Brocoum will join co-founder Dan Hermann and the Paint Nite leadership team to launch its expansion. Brocoum and Krauter reunite, having previously worked together on the launch team of Boston-based private sale site Rue La La.
“My priority is to connect with the consumer and amplify their creative experience. Paint Nite is just the beginning; the magic in this business is that we bring people together to learn new things, to build a sense of community, and to leave with a sense of accomplishment.”
“David brings exceptional leadership talent, all the right experience and a proven skillset centered around the high, sustainable, growth of new and emerging brands,” said Dan Hermann, co-founder of Paint Nite. “He has a clear understanding of what we need to do and how we need to do it in order to drive to that next level of Paint Nite success. I look forward to working with David as he leads the company’s next phase of growth.”
Krauter is well known for his accomplishments leveraging technology in consumer markets, having most recently worked at TripAdvisor as president of SmarterTravel. There, he handled a portfolio of media and e-commerce businesses including Airfarewatchdog, Cruise Critic, and Jetsetter. Previously, Krauter held leadership roles at Rue La La and CNET.
“Paint Nite is poised for growth,” said Krauter. “We know consumers love the experience we created, and that they actively seek out new ways to bond with friends. We want to build upon this energy, bringing consumers together with local artists so they try something new. Stephanie’s fresh thinking and proven consumer brand experience make her an ideal marketing leader. I look forward to working with her again as we build the next iteration of Paint Nite.”
Brocoum brings over two decades of brand and digital marketing experience. Prior to Paint Nite, she served as the chief marketing officer for Sperry Top-Sider, developing overall marketing and business strategies, and re-launching the Sperry brand to drive product expansion.
“Paint Nite has clearly hit on the importance of stepping away from the mobile and electronic world to enjoy time in the community, as is evident by our explosive success,” commented Brocoum. “My priority is to connect with the consumer and amplify their creative experience. Paint Nite is just the beginning; the magic in this business is that we bring people together to learn new things, to build a sense of community, and to leave with a sense of accomplishment.”
